About me

About 20 years ago I had a short artistic phase in which I tried out pastels, sanguine, charcoal and pencil. Career Changes (Spanish translation agency) and focusing on other things (Kinesiology Health Consultation) ended this creative period after a relatively short time.

In September 2020 I felt the desire to paint again. For my first attempts I chose watercolor paints.

Angels should be my first topic, then towards winter followed - completely surprising ;-) - Christmas cards.

I finally ventured into acrylic paints in January 2021 - and soon I would have preferred to do nothing else, than to paint.

I really enjoy experimenting with colours, different brushes and different materials, choosing motifs and putting them on paper or canvas. I mainly find my motifs in nature, mostly photos of myself or others, but I also like to be inspired by the works of other artists, so this way I learn different techniques.

Since January 2023  I am a member of the Art Club Kirchheim. So I can participate in additional interesting events and more exhibitions.
